Why Yoga Therapy?

If you suffer from back aches, muscle cramps, diabetes, obesity, cancer, auto immune disorders, anxiety and depression, insomnia or heart and lung ailments, yoga therapy will bring relief of symptoms. The practice of gentle, prop supported postures are done with alignment. The poses, yogic breathing practices and meditation aid the body in it’s natural ability to heal. Yoga therapy compliments your physio or chiropractic sessions by teaching you to listen to your body’s wisdom, move more efficiently and maintain a healthy spine and organs. 

Tracy focuses on teaching private and small class sizes with personal attention. She teaches her clients how to set intentions for healing and to incorporate yoga in daily life. The therapeutic side of yoga will compliment your treatment plan from Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Physio Therapists and from your Family Doctor.

  • Studied Yoga, Facia & the New Anatomy of the body with Tom Meyers (Anatomy Trains) and Robin Rothenberg (Essential Yoga Therapy).
  • Trained with Calgary Rheumatologist Dr Steven Edworthy & Kim McNeil BSc RYT
  • Diet & Nutritionist Advisor - Center of Excellence
  • 300 Hour Meditation Teacher Training with focus on mindfulness and yogic meditation - Yoga Meditation Center of Calgary
  • Certified in advanced CPR (Level C), AED and First Aid

Why Tracy and Yoga Therapy Works?

Having recovered from injuries herself, Tracy teaches with a sensitivity and a keen understanding of individual needs. Her adjustments are gentle and precise, helping her students achieve the maximum benefit from their yoga practice. Tracy urges clients to attune to their body’s messages and incorporate what they learn into their daily lives. Tracy is also a Diet and Nutritionist Advisor, and can help guide you on the path to overall wellness including nutritional choices. As a secondary healing modality, Tracy introduces Reiki when needed into her sessions.
